Section 85
Personnel Adjustment
(1) Regardless of what is written elsewhere in this Act, the provisions related to staff adjustment at the local level shall be in accordance with the prevailing federal law.
(2) The Government of Nepal may depute any employee working in the civil service to work at the local level until the adjustment of the staff as per sub-section (1). (3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), the permanent employees working at the local level at the commencement of this Act shall be deemed to be automatically adjusted to the respective local level. The staff of the district coordination committee can be assigned to the local level of the respective district, and when assigning staff, priority will be given to rural villages and municipalities that do not have enough staff.
